ABOUT
About
Tamara Cody
Tamara and her family moved to Port Clyde from Maui Hawaii in 2002 and quickly saw Musconugus Bay as a sea kayaking paradise. They opened Port Clyde Kayaks in 2004 and the business grew quickly.
There are over one hundred islands that make up the pristine mid coast area. The clear often tropical looking water, the stunning backdrop of islands and rocky shores, and the abundance of wildlife make for world class paddling.
Tamara and her team love sharing the spectacular Saint George peninsula with guests. As the business has expanded, Tamara has built relationships that have lasted over two decades as families return year after year.
In 2024 Tamara and her husband Mark opened and Air BNB. Guests can stay on site next to the “kayak condo” and have kayaks to use as well as the opportunity to glean more in-depth information about the many incredible paddling spots on the St George Peninsula and beyond. There are charts of the local area and several books about sea kayaking on the bookshelf.
